How do we collect your data?

Some data is collected when you send it to us, for example by email. Other data is collected automatically by our hosting provider's IT systems when you visit the website. This is mainly technical data such as your browser, operating system or the time you accessed the page. Data is only sent to the music services named below if you start a preview and agree to it.

Data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without errors. Jack Your Body does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising tools and does not create user profiles.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right to receive information about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge at any time. You also have the right to request that this data be corrected or deleted. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. 3. General notes and mandatory information

Data protection

The operator of these pages takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

Controller

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Paul Okraj
Statthalterhofallee 11
50858 Köln
Germany

Phone: +49 (0) 157 56 62 68 25

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing it no longer applies. If you make a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing it.

Withdrawal of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can withdraw consent you have already given at any time, for example through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the chart page. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.

Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (objection under Art. 21 (1) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. This right exists in the following cases:

SSL and TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://".

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies and local storage

Jack Your Body itself does not set any cookies. If you allow a music service to play previews permanently, this choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key "jyb-consent") so that we do not have to ask again. This entry contains no personal data, is not sent to us and can be changed at any time under "Cookie settings" or deleted together with your browser data. The legal basis is § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG, since storing your choice is strictly necessary to respect it.

The music services named below may set their own cookies once their player has been loaded with your consent. You can set your browser to inform you about cookies, to allow them only in individual cases, to exclude them for certain cases or in general, and to delete them automatically when the browser is closed.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. No connection to Google or other font providers is made when the page loads.

Enquiries by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, your enquiry including all personal data resulting from it will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

Chart data

The chart is compiled from publicly available sources: tracklists of radio shows (NTS), DJ charts published on Juno Records and Beatport and release data from Discogs. This involves artist, title and DJ names only and no data about visitors of this website. The tracks are matched with the catalogues of Spotify, Bandcamp and YouTube on our side before the page is published; your browser is not involved in this.

5. Music players and links

Each track in the chart can be previewed with a player from Spotify, Bandcamp or YouTube. No player is loaded when you open the page. A player only loads after you press play and agree to the respective service, either for this one time or permanently. Only then does your browser connect to the servers of that service, which receive at least your IP address, information about your browser and the page you came from, and which may set cookies or similar technologies. If you are logged in to the service, it can assign the visit to your account. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time under "Cookie settings". Some of these providers may process data in the USA; transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
